ABOUT

Sarah Potts is a New York City based makeup artist and hair stylist from Chicago pursuing makeup in television and film. Upon graduating from college at the University of Missouri, she realized her passion lies within the art of makeup as she began to do makeup looks from her bedroom ranging from beauty to special effects to body painting. Sarah decided to  move to New York to study at the Makeup Designory in Manhattan and to pursue a career working within television and film. While studying at the Makeup Designory, she had the opportunity to work with top industry pros. She has also had the opportunity to work in photoshoots through the school working as both the Key Makeup Artist and Key Hair Stylist with professional photographers and models.

Sarah has had a life long love for the arts and media. She has always loved watching actors get become their characters through makeup whether it was something simple or a dramatic difference. Her passion is to transform faces incorporating looks that are anything from beautiful to gruesome. She prides herself on her versatility and dedication to the art of creating a story through makeup and hair styling.

Upon graduating from the Makeup Designory with a certification in Multimedia Makeup, Sarah has been primarily working on short film sets, live theatre productions, and with photographers. She is excited to continue growing her skillset and working within the industry.
